To get the best sound you have to use the best sound equipment. Funktion One has earned itself the undeniable trophy as the top dance system in the world, the only choice in demanding clubs but it doesn’t stop there. We use Funktion One for anything. We haven’t found a gig that it didn’t do well. Jazz, Country, Blues, Rock’n'roll, we always get credit for the outstanding sound. There are rumors that it isn’t warm but ‘warmth’ for many really seems to means fuzzy and muffled and no musician wants their music not to be heard clearly. If the band sounds clear on the stage adding “warmth” is not a musical feature! Musicians, recording engineers and producers spend many hours mixing their music, our ethos is to reproduce their music without colouring it, it would foolish to think we know more about their music then they do, using Funktion One helps make our job easier.

Our engineers have many years experience in different styles of music, Jazz to Dance, Classical to HM, Rock to Conference, Salsa to Reggea and some very interesting mixtures of them all (many times a conference will finish, a partition is withdrawn and the main entertainment starts up, our engineers can cope with anything!)

We spec. the right gear and the right crew for your job, each job is individually prepared at the warehouse, we don’t just empty the truck where ever we go. We mix the sound to the venue, the genre of event, the audience size, style of music and how you, as our client, want to hear it.
